Several of our customers have run into an issue using the Sony UP-DR80 with Windows Vista and Windows 7. The driver loads fine, the printer is found, a print is sent to the printer but then nothing. No error message and no print. If you are encountering this problem, here is the temporary fix:
Go into the Sony UP-DR80 Printer Properties, click on the Advanced tab and uncheck the “Enable advance printing features”. See screen shot below.
That should do the trick. I have talked to Sony about this issue. They are aware of it and are preparing a fix. I’ll update this post as soon as I hear more. If you have any questions or need any assistance, please feel free to contact us.
