1910
Pako was founded by Glen M. Dye in Minneapolis, Minnesota. It started as a manufacturer of photographic processing equipment.

1960
Pako moved its headquarters to Golden Valley, Minnesota.

1984-1988
Pako formed a joint venture with Copal in 1984 to sell one-hour photo labs and formed the Phototek division to service on-site photo labs and also supply parts for Pako photographic machines. In June 26, 1988, the division was incorporated and the name was changed to Pakor, Inc.

1992
Imaging Spectrum was founded by two former Kodak employees with over 50 years of combined experience in the imaging industry. Bob Woodchek and Gary Stephens focused exclusively on the supply of digital imaging products.

1995
Gary retired from the business leaving Bob and all three of his sons, Mike, Eric and Brian, to set the course to the explosive growth that was still ahead of them.

1998-2007
Acquisition of Minilab Specialites in 1998 and then Photoland, Inc. in 2007 brought major new accounts and a siginficant boost to the company.

2012
Imaging Spectrum relocated its headquarters to Plano, TX. As a part of this change, the company gained a 40,000 sq./ft. warehouse to handle the enormous volumes of orders being processed daily.

2015
Pakor acquired Diversified Photo Supply Corporation and then only months later, acquired Liberty Photo Products. Even as the industry had begun rapid consolidation, Pakor secured its position as the dominant supplier of photographic supplies.

Mike and Eric Woodchek retired from the business, which ushered in a new leadership era via Brian Woodchek as the new CEO of the company

Imaging Spectrum becomes the newest Epson Certified Solution Center in the United States. Texas and surrounding states can now experience exceptional printing with the Epson line of wide format printers including photographic, signage, textile, direct to garment/film, and more.

Imaging Spectrum acquired Pakor to create one of the largest suppliers of both traditional and digital imaging products in the United States. While the Pakor brand name still carries great admiration in the industry, we operate as a single unified company and team in our daily operations.
