Epson has updated their printer warranty offerings, so here is a quick update, and you can see the new warranties here.
If looking to replace or buy a brand new Epson printer, you can now save about 20% off the cost of either a 1, 2 or 4-year max extended service plan when it is included with the printer purchase. The Epson printer will come with a 1-year manufacturer warranty and the extended service plan will continue that same coverage for the number of years you choose. This is the definitely the best way to go to make sure you covered for the lifetime of the printer.
Now if you already have an Epson printer that is under warranty, you still do have a choice to extend that service as well. For that, Epson offers a 1-year extended service in-warranty plan that you can exercise any time before your current warranty expires.Â
But what if my printer is out of warranty? Well, Epson does offer a special out of warranty extended service plan for selected printers as well. To qualify for this, it must first meet certain requirements from Epson before purchasing the plan. Â
