Printing 2x6 strips with Photoboof! Software
Posted by Steve Behen
We have had several customers call looking for help with setting up their Sony UPDR200 Photo Printer to print two 2x6 photo booth strips with Photoboof! Software. Thanks to Alec over at Photoboof we have the solution here for you.
Download this file which contains two layouts for the Sony UPDR200. To install the layouts, unzip the file to your Photoboof layouts directory (if Photoboof is installed to the default location, that would be c:\photoboof7\layouts). Then restart Photbooof if it was running.
Now in the Layout Editor you'll see two versions of the layout named "mipb". As always click "preview" to see what the layout looks like. Both versions have a logo at the bottom, but the logo is placed there differently: in one version the logo is a "mask", meaning an overlay over the entire layout. In the other version the logo is placed at the bottom of the strip on the Logos folder tab.
Important note: to get the double strip you need to tell Photoboof to print two copies, so in Photoboof go to File --> Configure Printing and set the number of copies to "2" (the field is at the bottom of the page).
That should do the trick. If you have any questions feel free to contact us.
