Fujifilm Wonder Photo Shop Opens in New York City
Posted by Steve Behen
When FUJIFILM North America Corporation opened its Wonder Photo Shop in New York’s historical Flatiron District, Imaging Spectrum and Darkroom Software jumped at the chance to support their efforts. Darkroom Booth Software showcases the photo booth component of the experience and the Fujifilm DX100 printer is the photo booth printer producing 4”x12” booth strips that beg for attention.
Wally Carnes, lead tech and software developer for Darkroom Software, attended the grand opening in New York City recently. Wally was amazed at the immersive experience the store showcases. “The quality of output and the experience with Darkroom Software is best of class and feels right at home in this environment,” said Wally Carnes.
FUJI describes the Wonder Photo Shop as, “a way to bring the message of 'Photo Renaissance' and the joy of photography to all aspects of peoples’ lives. This first-of-its-kind retail store in the U.S. adds to Fujifilm’s other global Wonder Photo Shop locations in Tokyo, Barcelona, Bogota, Manila, and Shanghai. In addition to these Wonder Photo Shops, there are eight affiliate Wonder Photo Shop in eight countries; Singapore, Australia, Brazil, Vietnam, Russia, Turkey, Thailand and Germany. The new Wonder Photo Shop officially opened on July 22 and is located at 176 5th Avenue.”
We were excited to be a part of this great project. Visit the Wonder Photo Shop the next time you're in NYC!
