DNP Halts Production of Media for Sony UP-DR150

A long time favorite in the photo industry, the Sony UP-DR150 is a real workhorse. Sony UPDR150 Photo PrinterUnfortunately, due to a lack of demand, DNP, the dye-sub media manufacturer that took over the Sony photo printer business,  made the decision to halt production of media for the Sony UP-DR150 printer. Currently Imaging Spectrum has some 5×7 media available but we have sold out of 4×6. We apologize for the inconvenience this will undoubtedly cause some.

If you are interested in a low cost alternative, we do have some refurbished Sony UP-DR200 printers available. The Sony UP-DR200 is built on the same workhorse frame as the UP-DR150. Advantages include lower cost per print, faster printing and higher capacity per roll. The DR200 will also cut a 4×6 print into two 2×6 strips. The Sony UP-DR200 sells for $495. As a promotion to our Sony UP-DR150 customers we are offering a $100 off coupon through the end of January.
