Technical Bulletin: Sinfonia Photo Printers

Sinfonia Shinko CS2 Photo Printer S6145

*Please note – if your driver is loaded and working, the expiration does not affect it, only the installer for future installations.  Current driver installations are not affected by the driver installer expiration.

We received a tech call from a customer who had an issue loading a Sinfonia driver. It was discovered that all Sinfonia drivers had an expiration date of 4/1/2014. Any driver prior to build 315 may not install properly due to the expiration date. We advise everyone to download the updated drivers on the KGDigital website which include a new driver that do not expire in the future. Current driver installations are not affected by the driver installer expiration.

The KG Digital site appears to be back to normal.

Looks like they not only forgot to renew their driver signing certificate, they forgot to renew their domain name! If you go to kgprophoto.com – any subpage – it takes you to a Network Solutions domain parking page rather than the KG Digital site.

Also, when did they release the build 315 drivers? The one I have is dated 2/11 and it’s build 295…

    Dorothy,
I clicked on the link above and it took me to the site. Try this: http://www.kgprophoto.com/downloads.php
Please feel free to call 800.342.9294 and ask for a tech ticket if you cannot get it to work.
