Introducing the DNP DSRX1 Photo Printer

The DNP DSRX1 is DNP’s answer to Sony’s beloved Sony UP-CX1. Photo Booth owners have been looking for a printer that is similar to the UPCX1 since it was discontinued. We are happy to say that DNP has a new printer that you can almost call a twin sister!

DNP DSRX1 Thermal Photo PrinterThe printers are very similar in size and shape, with the DSRX1 being a little taller and wider, but not as deep. This extra height is well worth it, considering the DSRX1 is about an inch and a half taller and you’re getting 500 more 4×6 prints per roll (700 print capacity).

4×6 print speeds on both printers are almost identical (1 sec. difference).

2×6 cut driver will be available in January (promised by DNP) for the DSRX1, which is a feature the UPCX1 never had.

Resolution for each printer is identical at 300 dpi.

Both printers will do glossy and matte prints.

The DNP is about 8lbs heavier (well worth it for the large paper capacity!).

Bill and I will be putting the printer through the paces so stay tuned for more information and videos. As always, feel free to send me an email or give us a call if we can be of any assistance. Happy Printing!
