Removing Jams from the DNP DS40 and DS80 cutter

DNP DS40 DNP DS80If you own a DNP DS40 or DNP DS80, I hope it never jams, and it probably won’t. However, if it does, the PDF document below will walk you through the process of removing jams from the cutter assembly. The procedure is the same for the DNP DS40 and the DNP DS80. Why not download it now and put it on any computers or laptops that you use for on-site events?

Thank you Bill, I have a DS40 purchased in 2011 however it does not have a cut function? Is there something i may need to purchase extra?

Thanks Bill…My paper was jammed at the entrance in an according way due to a cut piece behind the face plate at the exit where this document shows being removed in this PDF. However I did have to cut and remove the roll of paper, cut the paper again behind the film which allowed me to remove the bottom half and again cut the paper at the hinge of the lid which allowed me to remove the paper from top and middle. Anyways its working again and thanks for such a great response.
