Did you purchase an Epson wide format printer in the past 364 days? If so, you’re likely still covered by the original Epson one year warranty that comes with every large format printer sold. How does Epson’s one or two year extended warranty program work? If, heaven forbid, your printer drops a channel or has an electronic malfunction or spontaneously combusts, simply pick up the phone (put out the fire first) and call Epson Pro Imaging Technical Support. They will arrange for a technician to come out and evaluate the printer. If the tech determines that the machine is in need of repair, Epson will decide if the best course of action is to repair or replace the unit. The repair or replacement is covered at no additional cost to you. Conceivably, a one time warranty purchase might in fact get you a brand new printer! Either way, your printer will be back up and running, at no additional cost to you!
