New Print Alignment Utility for Sony UPCX1

Sony has just released a new utility for the UP-CX1 Photo Printer to help with event and photo booth formatting challenges. The new firmware and software utility allow users to “tweak” the left to right alignment of prints on each printer individually. Once the desired alignment is achieved the setting can be “locked down” in the firmware of the printer, so that the printer uses this same left / right offset for all printing.

This utility is particularly valuable for event photographers and photo booth operators that need to match output from several printers. This new feature can also be helpful when working with thin borders or other challenging design elements.
