Sony UP-CX1 Design Changes.

Sony has made some small changes to the design of the Sony UPCX1 printer.  The power button that was on the front has been replaced by a power switch on the back.  The old power button is now the “matte” button that allows you to toggle between matte and glossy finishes.  Here are animated pictures showing the new changes:

Actually, I’d love it if they moved ALL of the buttons to the rear! I had a beautiful metal case built for the printer and had to drill a bunch of holes in the front so I could activate the buttons with a toothpice. If there’s an error that requires me to reset the printer, I can’t really see the light very well. But this is a great start.

Interesting. Moving the power switch to the back was a good idea.

I have the older up-cx1. Is there a way to print matte on a mac with it?
